Listing Description
On the north side of Panagia Korfiatissa (a narrow street below) you will find the second catholic church of the island, Panagia ton Rodon or Rozaria.
This small catholic church was built by the French deputy consul Louis Brest in 1823 (as can be seen from the inscription above its entrance), while inside it is buried Brest himself and in his courtyard his wife. It is worth mentioning that the lintel of the church is decorated with the coat of arms of the French king Louis XVI.
