Pollonia or Apollonia is a seaside village at the northeastern tip of Milos. Pollonia is the second port of Milos after Adamas, while it probably took its name from the temple of Apollo that existed at the Lighthouse of Pelekouda. (on the left of the settlement).
From Pollonia there is a regular connection with a small ferry to Kimolos. The main beach of Pollonia is sandy and popular with holidaymakers. There are two more beaches in the village, the organized beach of “Polychronis” and the “back sea”.
